About Jacwicks

The Perch Range was borne out of necessity one day on a Nordic walk in the countryside. Needing something to sit on that was waterproof, easy to carry and pleasing. Founder Ruth Jacobs, searched for a suitable waterproof sit-mat, mini picnic blanket or picnic rug on the market suitable for walkers, campers, hikers, outdoor activities, day trippers, etc., without success. She decided to have a go herself and the Perch Range came into being. Since then the Pocket Perch is the Winner of Scotland's Trade Fair, Best Product Award Home and Gifts 2025, been Shortlisted for Gift of the Year 2019. Featured in: Country Walking, Walk and Trail journals. The Perch range includes: Pixy Perch for smaller bottoms, Poly Perch with room for two, Pet Perch made for our furry friends and the Picnic Perch made for family picnics.
