Insula - Natural Body Care is an herbal cosmetics laboratory located in Urzulei, a small town in the wonderful Ogliastra region of Sardinia (Italy), known as one of the 5 “blue zones” where people live the longest in the world. My name is Raffaele Bangoni, I am an herbalist and cosmetologist and I love to create products that can take care of the environment and the most delicate skins. At Insula we develop high-quality soaps, oils, scrubs, hair and skin care products with 100% natural ingredients and the utmost attention to environmental impact. All our products are 100% biodegradable and fully traceable. The ingredients we use (such as mastic, helichrysum, arbutus unedo, donkey and goat milk, mallow and prickly pear) derive from organic farming or from the spontaneous harvest of the flora.
