About Wandering Bud

Wandering Bud is a line of functional, handmade ceramics. We design our functional sculptures to provide an elevated experience and to double as art objects in the home. Our founder, Riley, dreamed up the concept for Wandering Bud in 2016 after growing frustrated with the lack of design-forward devices available. She bought a secondhand kiln and started making ceramics in her basement after coming home from her job as an elementary music teacher. Wandering Bud has since grown into a light-filled studio and employs 5 women to make each piece by hand.Read their story
