Founded in 1951, the brand has its roots in Suzuka, Mie—home of the celebrated Ise-katagami stencil tradition. From the beginning, our mission has been to preserve the artistry of classic patterns and hand-dyeing techniques such as chusen and nagaita-chugata, while giving them new expression for today.
