About Mirage

Mirage is a haircare company with the mission of reducing water waste and packaging waste by creating 100% waterless products that don't need to be packaged in plastic bottles, and that are actually great for your hair. It all started a few years back, when founder Lauren Leavitt was looking to 'clean up' her beauty routine after dealing with breakouts and sensitive skin for years. She was becoming more conscious of all the chemicals in her routine and began reading the labels on all her products and studying the different ingredients. She quickly noticed that water was almost always the number one ingredient listed, and it was usually followed by a bunch of harsh chemicals that she didn't want to be using. So she set out to create a brand that exclusively creates clean, waterless products without all the waste - and Mirage was born! The brand was recently accepted in Target Forward Founders, an accelerator program created by Target aiming to help up and coming brands gain access to knowledge about retail and expand their reach.
