Steve Lockhart and his wife Nichole Lockhart began crafting and selling their own line of men’s hair products in May of 2013. Steve, a natural tinkerer, artist, and crafter has developed a huge back catalog of hair products since. With an ethos focused on the craft Lockhart’s has always searched for new ways of crafting products that will work in anybody’s hair from all parts of the world. Lockhart’s has been described as the artists complete palette of paints to the hair industry. Where other brands will give you red, blue, and yellow, Lockhart’s will provide you with a variety of options that span from the darkest purple to the brightest greens and beyond in order to help both professionals and ordinary users craft any hair style their heart desires, not just something basic and inside the box. We’ve accomplished this through crazy levels of curiosity that led to us creating our own hybridizing techniques. Pomades hybridized with waxes, clays with creams, pastes with fibers, you name it, we’ve probably got a formula for it. Located in Durand Michigan, Lockhart’s is still a relatively small husband and wife owned team that still hand makes each batch of fresh hair products every day.
