The idea for a concept store for graphic design was born in 2014 - in the same year, The Bird Who Told was registered as a trademark. The Bird Who Told quickly became an insider tip and is now considered one of the most beautiful concept stores in Düsseldorf. In our own design studio, new postcard or poster designs are created almost every day. The artworks usually focus on striking statements, funny illustrations and trendy motifs, as well as inspiring wisdom, clever or even lyrical. The Birdies like to show their affinity to home with ever new city posters and postcards - whether in trendy retro style or as lovingly hand-drawn illustrations... The creative company 'The Bird Who Told' consists of owner and creative mind Sigrun Schmidt, some super cool design students and friends from art & culture. They all share a passion for something special and a keen sense for good design. In 2017, The Bird Who Told won the German Business Award in the categories: Best for Graphic Design & Print Services and the Excellence Award in Bespoke Wall Art Designs.Read their story
