About Latte Design

Latte Design is an art and homeware brand based in Oxford, UK. And I am Amalia the person behind the brand and all its products. My work is the result of my journey through life. My father was an architect and a painter, so I was surrounded by paintings and great design throughout my childhood. Born in Spain, I was raised between Europe and Latin America, where Kinetic, Op artists and Scandinavian design had a great influence in my artistic aesthetic taste. I got a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and made my way to Italy to start a career in Marketing. After a few years working in this field, I decided to get back to my true self and studied and graduated in Ceramics and Graphic Design. As a graphic designer, I specialised in Corporate Identity and learnt to love typography, negative space, precision, lines, shapes and much more. In 2012 my life changed again. This time, my destination was the United Kingdom. Soon, I began designing prints for my own new home, and those first designs were the seeds of what Latte Design has grown to be today.Read their story
