Guim. My name is Guillaume Larquemain, aka Guim. In 2021, I founded “by Guim”, my brand of high-end accessories in APPLE CANVAS. Graduated from École Boulle in 2004, I have always loved collaborating with craftsmen to innovate in a contemporary universe. The collection is therefore made: EXCLUSIVELY IN FRANCE. As an independent designer, I was advised to produce abroad to reduce production costs... But people are at the heart of my project, so I prefer to collaborate, for the hat for example, with a “Living Heritage Company”. In this way, I value women and men with EXCEPTIONAL KNOW-HOW. For me, plants are the future. I explore emerging bio-materials, as much as augmented reality. My signature material is apple canvas, with a very luxurious matte grained finish. This canvas is waterproof and resistant: it is easy to clean with a simple damp cloth. Our customers can try on my cap for free thanks to 1 filter on Instagram or see my interview by Sophie Fontanel. Strongly influenced by Japan, I make Apple Bonsai my symbol. The minimalist design that I propose is aimed at MODERN CITIZENS.
