About Ara Colors

We were born with an innate love of handmade comfortable soles and adorning it with floral prints, detailed art work and intricate embroideries bringing forth Indian tradition with western contemporary styles. Our Journey took us to lesser known regions of India, and that love turned into a neat independent label called Ara Colors. Our handmade leather ballet flats capture the finesse, quality and fine craftsmanship of a shoe, whilst being the most sought after fashion accessory of the season. We use premium leather uppers, comfortable memory foam insoles, along with quality leather soles. We also make handmade bags with intricate embroideries. They are perfect for the festive season or a casual day out. We are based on sustainable business practices and conscious consumerism. We focus on sourcing from the maker and strive to honor and support artisans. Ara Colors has collaborated with International NGO’s, Fair Trade Organizations and artisans, to support women's initiatives, social enterprises with a philanthropic focus and independent artisans.Read their story
