Hi, I'm Lindsay - thanks for stopping by my shop! Handmade in the greater Seattle area, I design and create laser-cut acrylic earrings designed for everyone! The most important part of my business is sustainability - you can expect your order to be delivered to you with the most sustainable packaging materials I am able to utilize. So, what does "sisu" mean? For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term “sisu”, it’s the Finnish concept described as “stoic determination, tenacity of purpose, grit, bravery, resilience, and hardiness”. When deciding on a name for this small business all the way back in March '20, I wanted to pay homage to the bad-a** generations of women in my family who have shaped me into who I am today (not to downplay all the bad-ass men as well 😉 lookin at you, dad!). This term is one that has been held close by my mom, grandma, and great grandmother and embodies so much about who I am as a person. I hope you join me on my small business journey!
