A proud alumna of Howard University, Reann's journey began with a simple yet profound dream: to capture the true essence of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) through the magic of plush toys. Her passion for celebrating HBCU culture, ignited during her time at Howard, led her to embark on a mission that would unite her love for her alma mater and her deep commitment to her roots. Reann's first creation, the "Little Huey Bison," inspired by Howard University, was more than just a plush toy. It was a labor of love and a testament to her dedication to representing the vibrant spirit and heritage of HBCUs in every stitch. With a deep appreciation for the significance of HBCUs in nurturing leadership, culture, and community, Reann crafted her toys to serve as tangible tokens of pride and unity for students, alumni, and supporters of these esteemed institutions.
