About Primpins

We are a husband and wife team who carefully assembles each Primpin by hand in our Long Island based workshop. We love our Primpins fasteners, and we hope you do too! We came up with our product idea the way many entrepreneurs do - we thought we could create something better than what was currently out there. For years, we lived with a shifting comforter, until one night when we couldn't take it anymore. We stayed up all night scouring the internet for a solution. And we were very disappointed with the results. The available options were unreliable, difficult to use, or were just plain unattractive. We knew "there had to be a better way," and decided that night to make a better duvet fastener. It took years to develop something that met all of our criteria. We took countless trips to hardware and craft stores, taught ourselves to use modeling software, and even bought a 3D printer. That bunching comforter really drove us crazy! It wasn't easy, but it was definitely worth it. Our bedding is now perfectly even, and we sleep better every night :)Read their story
