Kalustyan’s is New York city’s beloved spice market! A specialty food haven located in the ‘curry hill’ area of the city. Established in 1944 as a neighborhood store now has developed into a reliable source for spices, teas, Indian, Middle Eastern and specialty food products. The store now sells products from roughly 80 countries, not to mention local tri-state produce, especially from craft vendors in Brooklyn and Queens. Renowned Kalustyan's chef Ashfer Biju created our authentic and traditional recipes using all-natural fresh ingredients. From the ever-popular tikka masala ‘Makhni’ sauce to the chef’s mother’s recipe of South-Indian style ‘Malabar’ sauce, there are five variants of delicious simmer sauces available now on shelves.
