About Yoyo Children's Wear

Yoyo children's wear is an award winning retro inspired children's clothing and accessories brand all handmade and run by me, Helen from my little studio in East Yorkshire. I cater for ages 3 moths to 6 years. I've always had a passion for sewing, don't know where it comes from, it's just there! After leaving college where I sharpened up on my sewing techniques and also learnt how to draft patterns, I wanted to put my new skills to use. I always had in my mind that I wanted to do something completely different to what else was available so, in 2010, after many months of research, yoyo children's wear was born. I love drafting all my own patterns, all the designs are my own, and sourcing fabrics that are different from the norm and because of this, I'm able to keep my brand unique. I use simple silhouettes and colourful, fun and funky fabrics. I make clothes that wash and wear well, that are designed to last and that are able to be passed down or onto friends.Read their story
