Maison Babou candles are hand-poured in small batches in our candle making studio in Hove, Belgium. We only use 100% pure and natural, high quality rapeseed wax. Rapeseed is a clear, yellow blooming plant from the mustard or cabbage family. The European rapeseed wax is becoming more popular due to the fact that it is the most eco-friendly choice with a lower carbon footprint than any other waxes suchs as soy, coconut and palm wax. It is not blended with any other hidden waxes additives. It is also biodegradable, harmless to wildlife, not tested on animals and vegan-friendly. It is the perfect candle wax because it burns cleanly, for a long time and has a superb fragrance retention. Our scented candles are made with 100% essential oils. Our essential oils are derived naturally from the plant it originates from. The plant is processed through distillation or pressing. Our cotton wicks are lead free. With love, xxx
