Idea Girl. Problem Solver. Founder. Cindy let her creative heart guide her right from the start of her career with some of America’s most iconic fashion brands. After 20 years in Corporate America making things look good for Abercrombie & Fitch and then directing Global Merchandising & Marketing of Reebok stores, Cindy needed a change. She took a break from the billion dollar businesses and moved from her hometown of the Tri States to the West Coast in search of a new path. Her first stop was Vancouver, BC Canada where a small yoga apparel company, lululemon athletica was just starting to turn heads. She joined in the early stages pre IPO where there was a tremendous amount of growth, failure, learnings, and unlearnings. This extraordinary place introduced her to new people, big ideas and infinite ways of doing business. After departing lululemon, and relocating to Los Angeles, CA, Cindy has found herself going between the grind of corporate lifestyle, and in her free time using her creativity to build her own brand. It is her love and passion for product, deep understanding of what it takes to create quality while keeping the earth and the end user in mind. Philocaly was born. It means “ the love of beauty”. From that guiding principle, she says, anything can exist.
