Von was a scientist, an organic chemist in fact. Working for one of the biggest laundry detergent companies in the world, he was one of the most respected in his field. When it came to complex formulas, to washing ‘whiter than white’, there was nothing Von didn’t know. When Rhianne came along and Von became an uncle he knew she deserved better, not just ‘whiter than white’ but ‘gentler than gentle’. So better he created.
