In•a•grüv Shoes were created by Ada Dolan, a Spanish teacher and mother from Long Island. Her lightbulb moment? When she realized she couldn't find the perfect sandals for her college graduation party, all because she wasn't a fan of her wide feet! Ada, with her bunionette and long toes, always felt a bit shy wearing strappy sandals. She dreamed up a sandal design that would not only flatter her feet but also offer a rainbow of colorful straps to match any outfit, sparing her the need to buy 10 different pairs of shoes. Little did she know, she was stepping into her "sole's purpose" that day. Patented in 2016, the sandal took a new turn in 2021 with the introduction of the kids collection, and thus, In•a•grüv became “Grüvy shoes,” reflecting the sheer fun and versatility of these shoes.
