This beautiful replica telescope comes in a solid wood box with a metal plate on the front. The all metal (except for the lens) telescope opens up from 2 3/4" to almost 5" when fully extended. There is a clasp on the front of the box to keep the telescope secure. The wood case measures 4"x 2 1/4" x 2. It is shipped wrapped in cellophane and then placed in a craft cardboard box.
