Artwork Details: Crown Point feels like a threshold—the gateway to the Columbia River Gorge and to something bigger than ourselves. I created this sunset scene in pinks, purples, and greens to capture that expansive, breath-catching view as the river winds through the ridgelines. Embossed in the sky is John Muir’s line, “The power of imagination makes us infinite.” For me, this piece is about awe—the way standing at the edge of something vast stretches who we are.
