Paul Thomas Andersons Boogie Nights is set in 1977 and follows Eddie Adams, played by Mark Wahlberg, as he gets discovered by porn director Jack Horner , and is transformed into adult-film sensation Dirk Diggler. The movie chronicles his journey as Dirk fulfills all his ambitions, but a toxic combination of drugs and egotism threatens to take him back down. There are a colorful selection of characters that become entangled in Dirks life, and one of the is the iconic Rollergil, played by Heather Graham. The image of Rollergil with the Polaroiud also references the voyeauristic nature of the porn industry, and the 70's era, as does the bright yellow background color. "I'm a big, bright, shining star" is a quote Diggler says about himself, and we feature it on our Boogie Nights t-shirt design.
