The French physiologist and biologist René Quinton, a self-taught and visionary scholar, developed from 1896 a revolutionary and never disproven theory known as the LAWS OF ORIGINAL CONSTANCY. He demonstrated the analogy between the internal environment of the organism (blood plasma) and seawater (marine plasma), the environment in which life originated. Quinton derived therapeutic applications from this and the adage that the most natural and judicious source of minerals and trace elements remains the sea.
