A dark blend of Assam tea steeped in traditional Indian spices like cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and bay leaves. Delicious when brewed on its own and even more delicious when simmered in hot milk on the stove. When tea was first grown in India to break Chinese monopoly on tea, it was not a popular beverage among the locals. Best had with milk and sugar. For authentic Indian taste, put 1/2 cup milk & 1/2 cup water in a saucepan, add 1 tsp of tea, some sugar to taste and bring to boil.
