The Mussel Pearl Drop Earrings are made from the molding and casting of a real found New Jersey Mussel Shell in recycled silver. I collected the original empty mollusk shell on a beach in Cape May and then sent it to a local, family owned casting company to be cast in multiples of solid metal. Once the casting is returned, I solder on the chain, post and jump rings to the ball post top. The Mussel Pearl Earrings are only 1.25" long and .25" wide and come with 7mm ear nut backs.
