Sourced from China's legendary rice paddy farms. Our vintage wood rice containers were used to measure and carry harvested rice from the paddy to village kitchens. No two are alike. Some have metal patches and stitching that were added to shore up the container's joints for daily use. This is a vintage item. Condition, size, and color will vary.

This is one of my most favorite vendors on Faire. I love to order their products and I've made several large purchases. However the last 2 both had damaged inventory. They are quick to reimburse which is great but I'd really love my products arriving intact. I will keep ordering because I'm a huge fan. Another small gripe, shipping is always more than the original quote and expensive, the last couple of times $100 more. Again love the products, I realize they're high volume and mistakes happen.
