Our company started from my daughter’s desire to have a lemonade stand and, since we lived in a dead-end road of a very small town, I knew I needed to come up with a way to bring her lemonade to other parts of town or the next town over in order for her to succeed. I set out to get little bottles to make for easier transportation and we printed cute little labels at home, then Little Maven Lemonade was born. We started out with a recipe that is bittersweet to remember (frankly more bitter than sweet) and we quickly realized we had to improve our recipe. Meanwhile at home, I was always making a Brazilian limeade recipe that I grew up with in Brazil. Then, one day, Sofia asked why we didn’t sell the Brazilian limeade instead of the boring lemonade, in that moment the idea of a multicultural lemonade company was started. I spoke with a few friends from different countries and we embarked on a quest to understand how everyone made lemonade around the world.
