Wooden model inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s famous hydraulic saw (Codex Atlanticus, folio 1078r). Made from 4 mm birch and 8 mm tanganika plywood, laser-cut with precision. The tanganika components are wax-polished by hand. Assembly requires PVA glue (not included). This is the most complex model in the DAHIMO catalog: the blade moves up and down while the sled advances with the log, powered entirely by the rotation of a paddle wheel, just as Leonardo envisioned. The mechanism is fully functional and provides a clear understanding of how the machine works.
