Sunglass cases are available as well. Named for the dreamy little town of Avalon on Catalina Island. It is a short boat ride away from Long Beach, but really a world away. One step off the boat and you feel like you are transported to the Mediterranean. Walk the beautiful narrow streets, as only golf carts buzz around instead of cars. The people are really sweet and the shops and restaurants are unique. There is no hurry for anything there, unless you are about to miss the boat back to the mainline - and, if you do just stay another day..ooops, oh well.
