The Swamp Fox Sunglass Strap derives its name from the famous Revolutionary War hero, General Francis Marion. Born near Charleston, he served under General William Moultrie in the Continental Army before organizing a militia unit after the fall of Charleston. Marion used guerrilla tactics and his knowledge of the South Carolina backcountry to surprise and escape the occupying British forces, earning the nickname “The Swamp Fox.” The dull green color of this strap is representative of the swamps Marion would hide out in.
