The average lifespan of the bulb is about 1500 hours. PowerTec halogen lamps are distinguished by high durability and resistance to high temperatures and vibrations. Hardened quartz glass and stainless steel were used in the manufacturing process. Quartz glass with a UV filter protects the headlights from damage and the lenses themselves from tarnishing.
