Description
8-14” round walnut wooden tree slices (used for all kinds of stuff) For the best and most consistent quality, we cut all of our own trees. This allows us to pick out the best for our customers each and every week! These Slices come in varying widths (8-14” round wooden pine cookies) but are all at least 8 inches in diameter. Everyone will vary from 1.5-2.0” (inches) thick Each Slice makes for a beautiful centerpiece and can be used to accentuate other pieces as well. IF YOU WANT A SPECIFIC THICKNESS --- WE CAN DO IT! We always strive to provide the best quality product possible, but the nature of these naural wood slices make it impossible for us to guarantee that every one will be perfectly flat and straight. The pieces are a rough cut and we cannot guarantee exact sizes or against some saw blade chipping. Visit our other listings for other sizes and materials. The black walnut slabs were priced a little higher than I can find elsewhere but worth it as they state "All boards are kiln dried, planed and are ready to be sanded and finished." They were planed quite well (not necessarily flattened but they didn't make that claim.) The quality of the wood was disappointing. A large amount of worm holes, which can be expected but the HUGE tunneling make it worthless. It limits what can be made with half the material thickness gone due to tunneling.
