Description
Enamelled by hand and intricately decorated with a lovely floral print in blues and greens, this aluminium heart box with lid is fairly traded and made from environmentally friendly scrap metal. 10 x 10 x 4cm Wherever possible we choose to re-use and recycle. Recycled aluminium saves up to 90% carbon emissions compared to the production of new aluminium from bauxite - it also reduces landfill waste! Hand wash only Our supplier in Northern India was established in 1992 and has grown to be one of the larger enterprises that Namaste now trades with. Two brothers manage a family business with a total combined workforce of over 150, many of whom are skilled artisans. Over 100 of these employees are permanent workers with job security. The artisans and other workers involved in Namaste production earn a fair wage which is at least equal to or above prevailing local rates. Men and women earn the same pay for the same job; sick pay is provided plus paid holidays and time off for festivals.

When we ordered from Namaste, we didn't expect the package to arrive so quickly, as we are located in the US and they are in the UK. However, the package arrived to our store within a week and a half of the order being placed! The goods were all even more beautiful than we could have imagined, and the rugs smelled like spices and incense. Each piece was so beautiful, they're truly going to be the centerpieces of our store!
