It is Forhad Rahman’s debut chapbook and a culmination of silent prayers and invisible tears – enough to fill any hospital room. While much of this work was written in the quiet corners of a Bronx apartment, there are pockets of reflection found when surrounded by the chatter of family or the bustle of a public train.
