Description
Eight long tentacles unfurl across this large serving bowl, belonging to a curious blue octopus. The artwork of the intelligent ocean creature’s textured body has been produced using a large, specially cut sponge that is coated in reactive glazes and hand-pressed against the earthenware serving bowl. This technique creates a unique impression with each application, resulting in a stunning, one-of-a-kind octopus bowl. The fascinating technique is used across a wide array of ceramics in the Creatures collection from UK based brand, BlissHome. The pieces are handmade and designed in a small, family-owned factory in Italy, where the skills are passed down through the generations. This octopus bowl is also available in a striking orange colour.
