Description
This disc brooch is a reproduction of a find from York, and dates to the 9th/10th century. Due to its location, it indicates that there were good trade links between the Vikings & Saxons of the period. It is handmade in Scotland from lead free pewter and measures 52mm across. It is suitable for fastening light cloaks and wool or linen garments.

I am thrilled to be able to offer my customers good quality historical reproductions for their reenactment kits. I make reproduction Viking Age glass beads and having the correct pendants and brooches to pair with them makes me the 'go to' merchant at local festivals
