Designed to look just like a medieval arming sword, it's durable enough to stand up to light play with its sturdy solid wood construction and full wooden tang handle. The blunt edges and a rounded tip are safe for the eyes during light sparing play WITH adult supervision. The attention to detail on this toy sword also makes it ideal for costume use. This play sword is unique in that it has a full, wooden scabbard so drawing the sword and replacing it is quite a lot of fun and it just looks more the part for costume use. It comes with 2 small loops on the sheath for hanging off a belt. Portions of this sword manufacture are outsourced but design and prototype is solely the property of Backwoods Provisions.
