This unique necklace is beautifully hand-crafted by village artisans in Haiti from clay and brass beads and finished with a brass lobster clasp. The necklace is 46 inches long offering versatility to wear long or doubled-up to create a stacked look. Great for someone looking for a a statement piece that's not too chunky and with a nice pop of color. Story Behind the Art The crafting process is very detailed and time consuming from start to finish. Artisans first make the clay beads from scratch. The clay is hand-rolled to form the bead that is delicately pierced to form the beading hole, before firing in the kiln. I have ordered from Global Crafts before, but this time I added some of the felt bags/purses. They are ADORABLE! The felt is very thick and the bags are well made! I also ordered a few of the recycled jeans label wallets and a purse, they are very cool! And I got some recycled metal ornaments and a wall hanging. They are beautiful! I love everything we have gotten through Global Crafts!
