Wholesale Handmade House Centipede Insect Earrings in Copper & Sterlin

These earrings are designed to be a mismatched pair, but you can order two with black silhouettes or two with black backgrounds if you would prefer a matched set. Just specify when you order and I will be more than happy to oblige. These earrings are completely handmade in the USA by the designer from pure sterling silver and custom-etched copper plates. The copper plates on the earrings measure 7/16" (1.1 cm) x 7/8" (2.2 cm) -- the total drop adds about 3/4" for a total length of 1-5/8" (4.1 cm) ******** THE PROCESS: After preparing the art for this design, I use an acid bath to etch the artwork deep into the copper plates. The copper plates and sterling silver components are then soldered together using good, old-fashioned silversmithing techniques . The completed earrings were then polished, hand patinated, then polished again to restore the gorgeous, bright copper glow.
