These wool blankets were formerly a wool sweater, hat, or scarf, and now enjoy a second life to keep you warm. HEAVY AND WARM - The Queen size Arcturus Lake Tahoe wool blanket weighs 7.5 lbs with a density of 550 GSM (that means nice and thick). PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL - This large Queen size blanket measures 90" X 96". MACHINE WASHABLE (if you must) - Every Arcturus wool blanket is triple-washed during production so you can use it right away. To keep shedding to an absolute minimum, we recommend hand washing your blanket in cold water. You may also machine wash your blanket separately in cold water on a delicate cycle and line dry. Avoid top loaders with a center agitator as they can cause damage and will increase shedding.
