Funky & sweet lucite stud earrings featuring vintage lucite cut in a daisy flower motif. The old lucite was made into 'canes', similar to the way that the Venetians made their glass beads, and then the cane was sliced to make these earring pieces. This is how the stripes & marbling feature was made. Flower shapes cut on a bias so that they're 'sliding'. Each measures approximately 11X15mm in a floral oval shape. White & lavender or light purple lucite stripes. Earrings are made with vintage lucite parts that were made in Rhode Island in the 1960's - early 80's by Best Plastics. We hand-set them with surgical steel earring posts and they have sturdy surgical steel/acrylic backings on them as well. Light-weight & fun to wear.
