Look forward to your unique piece! The copper pipes are deliberately untreated. After a period of time, a natural patina will form due to oxidation. Many people like copper precisely because of this property. However, if you don't like this, you can easily remove the oxide layer from time to time using a metal sponge or fine sandpaper.
