WHOLESALE STARS & STRIPES JACKET - BRICK

We treated ourselves to a multitude of references for this incredible piece. It's a bit like the leather we've always dreamed of: the one that makes you turn around, the one that catches your eye, because even if you can't say everything it evokes for you, you like it... If you have the same references as us, the same retro culture that drives you... Here are some clues to decode our favorite: THE STYLE: Vintage Racing. The vintage GP motorcycle jacket. I think that was the starting point. We've always been fascinated by these multicolored leather jackets with large embroidered logos. Remember; those color patches that give an incomparable style, like those produced by HONDA. These vintage pieces, which are sold today as true treasures of the past, were often adorned with large embroidered or appliquéd logos in contrasting colors, in the colors of the must-have sponsor of the time: MARLBORO, LUCKY STRIKE, or CASTROL... A whole symbolic era that no longer exists today but made us nostalgic, and that we wanted to transcribe, in one way or another. THE COLORS: Well obviously, the vintage style, the seventies, if you know us, it's our thing. The Mac Queen style, or even more for the initiated, the ultra-stylish look of the heroine Julie Wood, is clearly what inspired us. Mixing the Vintage Racing style with seventies colors and the chromatic style of the time was the challenge. It results in a two-tone jacket, orange and cream, or khaki and cream, with some logos applied in a contrasting color. A chromatic trio that made us wildly indecisive and led to intense debates! THE CUT: Of course, we needed a feminine cut, because even though this jacket is inspired by vintage GP jackets, those were masculine, wide, and imperfect for a feminine figure. So we went to another favorite universe made in Wildust... The Wild West, (you know it), and the good old cowgirl jackets. The fitted cut, the stars in topstitching on the sleeves and back are clearly inherited from this Western universe. Like cowboy boots and star belt buckles, we couldn't resist pimping this jacket with a neo-country look that made us travel so much!!! In short, you get it, a bit of GP, a touch of western, and a lot of AMERICAN VINTAGE SPIRIT... That gives this absolutely exceptional "Stars & Stripes" jacket.
