I love to draw and paint small, intricate designs, so I’ve always been attached to small canvases. A fellow artist and dear friend invited me over for a joint paint session and pushed me to push my boundaries with a challenge: using a large canvas and NOT using my tiny paintbrushes. After finger painting and splattering sections of the painting playfully, I began to see a cartoonish feline figure. I added detail to bring him out, and voilà: Tito was born!
