Nine fantasy and science fiction stories, for a “female” anthology: the key characters in many of these stories are in fact women. Women who move in the past or in the future, but who always resist: social injustices, illness, loneliness, loss of the dearest emotional ties. Nine stories that, alternating dramatic and humorous tones, remind us how important the dignity, aspirations, feelings of each of us are, how important these things are in defining us as human beings.
