Stoneware Berry Bowl / Colander / Orchid Pot This beautiful stoneware ceramic berry bowl is hand-thrown and hand-glazed in Ohio, USA. Designed for versatility, it works perfectly as a berry bowl or colander for rinsing fruit and vegetables, or as an orchid pot or planter with excellent drainage. Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe, the bowl measures approximately 3.5" high by 5" wide and comes with a matching saucer measuring 5.5" in diameter. Drain hole designs will vary, adding to the unique character of each piece. As with all our handmade pottery, no two pieces are ever exactly alike—subtle variations in glaze, color, and form make each one truly one of a kind. A functional, thoughtfully crafted piece made for everyday living.

Berry Bowl/Colander - Handthrown Stoneware - Blue Wash
The concept and design of the products is great. However I didn't anticipate that the stoneware would be so light and thin, given the wholesale price and suggested MSRP. I haven't been successful with selling them at the 50% margin. Customers think they are way too expensive despite knowing they are made in the USA. I had to bring them down to only a 15% margin since I ordered a lot ahead of time given that they take almost 8 weeks to fulfill.
