Description
French rolling pins are simple clean lined, beautiful kitchen tools! If you love to make pastries, bake bread, or craft cookies, then a tapered french rolling pin will be a pleasure for you to use! This rolling pin is made from an extremely beautiful wood called Zebrawood. A west/central African hardwood, zebrawood has long been prized for its stunning grain and density. Unfortunately Zebrawood is hard to find on the west coast of British Columbia! We were lucky enough to find a small supplier who was able to get us a few pieces for a limited run of rolling pins! Aside from the stunning grain pattern and rarity, Zebrawood offers some unique challenges when working with it, its dense interlocking grain means that only the sharpest tool with work and the high silica content means it dulls all tools! This means that we have to take special care when working with it. Finished with a food safe oil/beeswax topcoat rubbed and buffed to a soft sheen. Dimensions (approximate) : 18" by 1.5"

Jacob had messaged me and gone above & beyond by taking & sending me photos of the product to make sure I wanted them with their specific pattern. They are even more beautiful in person, and I can't wait to hear the reaction from my customers looking for a one-of-a-kind piece for their kitchen! Will definitely be ordering from Pacifica again!

Amazing customer service. Jake made our rolling pins out of Maple from two different regions so that our customers would have options. We were so impressed with that kind of thoughtfullness and going the extra mile. Items were packaged very well and absolutley beautiful. I ended up keeping one of the rolling pins for myself and love it!
