May Chang (Litsea) essential oil has an intense lemon fragrance with spicy undertones, and nourished and refreshes. While the essential oils are doing their job, the pink clay (which is a mixture of red and white clays) gets to work, deeply cleaning pores without stripping the skin's own natural protective barrier. These bars are creamy and moisturising, while remaining hard from the addition of beeswax, meaning they last longer. This soap also has local honey in it, which adds lather. Beeswax has Vitamin E in it, as well as anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, and forms a protective barrier by sealing in moisture in our skin, without smothering.
