The phrase NEITHER SNOW, NOR RAIN, NOR HEAT, NOR GLOOM OF NIGHT gives us all the feelings! It was chiseled in granite along the top of the old New York City general Post Office on 8th Avenue in 1914 honoring postal workers' hard work and dedication. Did you know last year alone the postal service delivered 143 billion pieces of mail to 160 million delivery addresses and operates more than 31,000 Post Offices?? WOWWEE that’s a lot of mail! This year, due to COVID-19, the post office will play a big part in the upcoming election. They’ve got a gigantic job delivering mail-in ballots. There’s a lot of people in this country after all (331 million to be exact, and about 200 million can vote)!
