Salizada celebrates the Italian artisan tradition of velvet. Made with collections of fabrics from ancient and prestigious Venetian laboratories. Venice is not only known as the city of blown glass, but also as the city of velvet and silk. Velvet, the richest and most precious fabric, originated during the XIII century in the East and in the fifteenth century it reached Europe becoming common to all the most established Italian centers, in particular Venice and Florence, where this technique is still handed down.
